Kluba Dred 4_WIP

Here's da Kluba' fully assembled, primed, and the beginnings of his painting.  ^ ^  The final touches consist of: a Morkanaut face-plate (complete with skorchas in his mouth), shield mounted miniature skorcha turret, the recycled Riptide shield fins as thigh armor, Trukk siding as shield extentions, additional spikes for the Klub and shield, and a saw assembly on the tail end of the Klub.

I'm in uncharted territory using a metallic basecoat (Army Painter) vs my usual black primer, but I think it'll save me time overall.  As this is my first 'looted' Tau piece, I'm hoping to have the Tau bits stand out.  The former Riptide will be mostly black with some minor highlights and coated with 'ard coat / clear fingernail polish.  This should contrast nicely with the faded and rusty orange plating my Meks have bolted on.  ^ ^  The Klub itself will also have a fair splash of gore.

I've also decided that Kluba' will simply be fielded as a Mega Dred.  Tough, easy to handle, and dead killy.  ^ ^
